Daniel Lewinstein is a video editor and filmmaker based between London and New York. Since graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Daniel has worked as a video editor for clients including Facebook, General Electric, and PBS, as well as nonprofits and educational institutions. In 2022, Daniel was selected for the D5in10 program sponsored by Droga5.
As a filmmaker, Daniel has worked variously as a director, editor, and producer on projects ranging from music videos to narrative films to virtual reality experiences. He has also worked as a documentary cinematographer, and frequently shoots on 16mm film. His documentary work has given him the opportunity to travel extensively in Italy, Hong Kong, and mainland China. His work has screened at festivals internationally, including the Cannes International Film Week and the Brussels Independent Film Festival.
Daniel is currently developing his first feature, Morning on the Lake, with co-director Jun Kuromiya. The project was selected for the 2024 Stowe Story Labs.
